February Favorites

February was definitely my busiest month ever. It was a lot better than January because of the amount of social events I had and the fact that classes started back up. I know I sound crazy for liking that classes started, but the constant eat, swim, sleep, and repeat gets old after a solid month.

This month I have a good amount of favorites in all categories: beauty, fashion, and life! Like I said February was a busy month filled with lots of excitement.

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation

I ran out of foundation months ago, but for a while I had no need for it so I would just do my usual routine without it. After going on training trip with my swim team I came back with an uneven complexion.

That always happens to me whenever I go somewhere and tan so when I got back I knew I needed to find a new foundation. This foundation is actually quite amazing! It has a matte finish and it's designed for normal to oily skin. My skin doesn't get that oily in the winter months, but as the weather gets warmer this foundation will be great for then!

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

I have repurchased this product at least two times since its release a few years ago. It's my go to when I'm in between mascaras and not sure what to try next. I can do an in-depth review later on if y'all want!

Little Black Dress

I cannot express how much I love this black dress. I purchased it a few years ago at H&M. It's under their "Basics" line and let me tell you - it is a closet essential! I have worn this dress to formal events and non-formal events quite a few times this month.

I went through an Coco Chanel phase during high school where I always had at least 3 little black dresses on hand for various events. This is definitely an essential little black dress, especially during the colder months if you have to be outside in it! (@Recruitment!!)

Recruitment

In the beginning of the month I went through Spring Recruitment at my school. It was the best decision I've ever made this school year besides trying out for swim team.

I will make a huge life post once I am fully initiated, but I cannot include recruitment in my favorites! I had the best time rushing even though I had many mental breakdowns and long nights of waiting for the email that told me I was still invited back.

Landmark Conference

I swam in my first collegiate championship conference this past month. I entered the meet super nervous especially for one of my races. Thank god I am a part of such an amazing team because if it wasn't for my teammates I would have been crying non stop at that weekend.

I really surprised myself by dropping time in all of my events with my best time drop coming from the event I was terrified of most. I could not be more proud of the team for all of our successes from breaking conference records to coming out as champs for the 8th year in a row.
