February Recap

March 16, 2016

I have been missing for the past month and I can definitely tell you that I missed blogging. I have had so many post ideas, but never had the time to create them. So let's catch-up because you deserve to know why I disappeared from the blogging world. Here's how my month of February (and beginning of March) went.

At the end of January I got my first job at my local Panera Bread. The whole month of February I've been working and managing school work. I love my work and it doesn't really feel like I'm working becuase my work has such a fun atmosphere. From Day 1 of training I knew this job is going to be perfect for me.

Besides working I had a lot of school work which is what consumed most of my time. If I wasn't at work you could find me working on homework or my business project. I felt like a workaholic, but I knew it would pay off. I was very stressed out throughout February, but my puppy (he's 7 years old, but will always be a puppy to me) was always around to distract me and make me laugh.

One night at work I saw my favorite car (aka my future car), Mercedes G Wagon in the parking lot. I can count on one hand how many times I've seen one in person. My lucky number is 5 and when I saw this G Wagon, it was my 5th time. Ironic? I think not, it's lucky number 5's magic. SO of course I had to run out to the parking lot and taking a picture! I've never been so close to one before. I know, I'm weird, my friends will tell you that any day.

Last post I made was not a normal post, sorry. I needed somewhere to put my english project for my teacher to easily access. To sum up what the whole concept of that post; I had to make a creative project for english that was about the play we just read, A Midsummer's Night Dream. I chose to make modern outfits that represent the female characters - Helena, Hermia, and Hippoylta. I apologize for posting such a random and unexplained post!

In the beginning of March I was competing in a business competition called DECA. You may also know the similar group, FBLA. I competed at the States level and unfortunately I will not be moving onto Nationals in Nashville, but this was a very good learning experience for me. I had an amazing time at States and cannot wait to do it again next year. This was very time consuming and the main reason why I could not keep posting as often as I wished.

That's basically what I did all of February and beginning of March. Work, work, work, and more work. I barely had any time to relax. Thank god it's over and I can take a few seconds to breath.

How was your February?
