L'Oréal Waterproof Voluminous Hydrofuge Mascara Review

This mascara was featured in my January Favorites post, but I could not write an in-depth review. I typically use high-end beauty products because they are better quality, but the drugstores carry some products that have high-end quality.

The L'Oréal Waterproof Voluminous Hydrofuge mascara is one of those products. I learned about this mascara through a few YouTubers I'm subscribed to. They were obsessing over this mascara so I bought it (less than $8) to see what the big deal was.

This mascara is amazing! L'Oréal claims that this mascara will, "resist clumping, soften and build lashes up to 5X their natural thickness." I believe that this product performs how it is advertised. My lashes look fuller and thicker when I wear this mascara. The waterproof feature helps my lashes hold their curl the whole day.

I love having long, thick lashes. I look for mascaras that accent my naturally dark curled lashes. I have used drugstore mascaras that caused my lashes to clump and would flake off my lashes throughout the day. The Voluminous Hydrofuge does not flake away, clump, or look unnatural. The waterproof feature doesn't affect how to remove the mascara. I can easily remove this mascara without having to pull or tug at my eyes. 

I would definitely use this mascara during the summer when I am constantly in and out of the water. What's your favorite drugstore mascara?
