Summer Makeup Routine

Hi y'all, happy hump day! I'm here with a short & sweet beauty post like I said on my last post! If y'all read that post, you should know that yesterday I ended up sleeping in because I got off work super late the night before and your sweet comments helped me not feel awful for sleeping in :) I appreciate the support from each of you <3 Now onto the post!

I'm going to be honest with y'all, wearing makeup in the summer isn't always my favorite. I have oily skin, but it gets a lot worse in the summer since I sweat from the heat so I tend to wear minimal makeup. I always wash my face in the morning and I use the Jergens Natural Glow moisturizer on my face; I also use the body lotion after showers!

The first thing I do (even if I only go this far) is fill in my eyebrows. You will never ever see me go somewhere without my eyebrows filled in. You can explore this blog and look at posts like this one, this one, or even this one (you'll cringe...you've been warned!!) and you'll see how much my eyebrows have been through!

Now they're in a lot better shape than ever before; they're just light so I fill them in. I used to take forever to fill in my eyebrows, but now I do it in less than 5 minutes. It all takes practice! Practice! Practice! Practice!! I 10/10 recommend Anastasia Beverly Hill Eyebrow Pomade, it has stayed in place and on my face even on my worst days. 

Then next thing I do is apply my eyeliner! I have used this Lancôme eyeliner for years and I have repurchased it multiple times! It wasn't until this year that I realized how often I repurchase my favorite beauty products without even considering branching out to try new ones. Y'all know I'm a swimmer and I kid you not when I say this eyeliner can survive a swim practice! The days when I forget a makeup wipe this eyeliner never fails to stay in place. I 10/10 recommend for the summer.

I love this mascara and have recently fallen in love with it again! I love the length it gives my lashes! I also mix this with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I am currently trying out this mascara so I'll have an in-depth review on that soon! The combo of the Too Faced mascara and this one is my go to for my everyday look.
